WiFi is the most common wireless technology for accessing the Internet, given the convenience, mobility, ease of deployment and the speed offered and this is especially so for broadbad users. The CygNet BBNMS has the capability to manage WiFi hotspots, along with the Packet over Ethernet (PoE) switches that carry the backhaul and the Universal Power Supply (UPS). The management of the hotspots can be via the EMS or via the Wireless LAN Controller (WLC).

The CygNet BBNMS provides complete and comprehensive management of broadband networks, across multiple access technologies, and provides the CSP with a total picture of the broadband network. For swift problem resolution and superior customer service, the system can be integrated with the CygNet Trouble Ticketing / Help Desk solution. This provides auto and manual ticket creation for various faults conditions in the field and tracks the fault till closure of ticket. The Notification Service sends notifications to various stakeholder through Email/SMS. An intelligent mobile app is available allowing authorized users to view and manage various functionalities like Ticket status and Reports on the fly.
